WARE, Judith Ann 80, of Springfield, passed away December 19, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born June 17, 1938 in Springfield, the daughter of John Franklin and Ruth Jane (Hastings) Thornburg. Mrs. Ware was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and loved animals. Judy had been employed in the activities department at Heartland of Springfield for 20 years. Survivors include two sons; Craig Ware and Scott (Lisa) Ware, Springfield, three grandchildren; Jessica (Paul) Gaier, Jami Stumbo (Kevin Clifford) and Jessica (Eli) Ault, six great grandchildren; Hannah Marshall, Cameron Scott, Keegan James, Franki James, August Stumbo and Mason Clifford and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her former husband; Bruce Ware and her parents. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday in the Northside Baptist Church, 2425 Derr Road, Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:30PM Thursday in the church with Pastor Kirk Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
