LaDonna Louise Ware was born February 11, 1943, to William Versal and Grace LaVon (Ridgway) Miller, in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She passed away at Jefferson Place in Pella, on May 9, 2018.

LaDonna was a 1961 graduate of Albia High School. She was united in marriage to George E. Ware on September 2, 1962, at The Church of the Brethren in Ottumwa. To this union they were blessed with two children: Melody and Floyd. Donna worked at Pella Regional Health Center as a dietician’s aide.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband George, her daughter Melody and Frank Utterback of Otley, her son Floyd and Linda Ware of Otley, her grandchildren: Jerret and Jessica Utterback and Tanner Ware, her great-grandchildren: B’lana, D’lyla, and K’leia Utterback, her brother Dr. Keith and Jamie Miller, and her nieces and nephews.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held on May 12, at the Church of the Nazarene in Pella. Memorial donations may be given to Jefferson Place or Wesley Life Hospice. The Garden Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
