Betty Ware Hutchins, age 86, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, March 26, 2018, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Martin Ware and the late Gertrude Christie Ware. Betty was preceded in death by four brothers; Clem, Martin Jr., Norel and Jack Ware, one sister Elaine Owenby and an infant daughter.

Sur vivors include her husband Everett Hutchins; one daughter Tonya Clark; three sons, Joe Hutchins, Ralph Hutchins and Boyd Hutchins; one brother Oren Ware, nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11a.m.-12 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Brittain Presbyterian Church. The funeral ser vice will be at Brittain Presbyterian Church at 12 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018.

Interment will be at Brittain Presbyterian Church Cemetery. McMahan’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
