Myra Ware Williamson of Austin passed away February 9, 2018, leaving behind her husband, James Williamson, her sister and brother-in-law Mary and Marion McDaniel of Houston, Nephews Mack McDaniel of Houston and Mark McDaniel of Austin, and Niece Nathalie McDaniel of Houston. She also leaves Sister and Brother-in-law Diane and Jeff Clark of Rockport, and Son-in-law Jacob Williamson and his husband, Josef Ricketts of Austin. Myra was born January 14, 1945 to Thomas Preston Ware, Jr. and Winnifred Cagle Ware Sartor in Houston and was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended Ray High, UT-Austin, where she joined the Thetas, and graduated from TAMU – Corpus Christi. She was employed by TXMHMR and HHSC constructing and repairing state facilities until she retired. Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 27th and Whitis street in Austin. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the church. The family thanks the staff of St. David’s Hospital North, the people of All Saints Church, the All Saints Loaves and Fishes program and the All Saints Heavenly Hosts for their love and assistance during this difficult time including Ruth Ann Lostracco, Patti Woolery-Price and Mona Myers. The family also wishes to thank Linda Ray, Paul Hallet and the members and wives of the Austin Men’s Group for their attention to the living.
