Bobbie Sue Ware Taylor, 73, of the Wassamassaw Community in Moncks Corner, SC, passed away peacefully at home early Tuesday morning. Bobbie was born September 15, 1944, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Drewey Lafayette Ware and Willie Mae McClendon Ware. Bobbie was a devoted wife and mother who was never lacking in love to offer. Whether she was enjoying time with her family, playing tennis, skiing, or just laying by the lake reading a book, her life was filled with love and joy, which she graciously shared with all those around her. She will be greatly missed. Bobbie is survived by her husband of 53 years, E. Ray Taylor; her son Chad E. Taylor and his wife, Cici; two nieces, Renee Meridith and Melanie Kiem and her husband, Todd; and two nephews, David Meridith and Michael Speakman and his wife, Becky. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Laurel Sue Taylor of Summerville, SC, and a brother Jimmy L. Ware, and sisters, Nina W. Speakman and Sandra M. Lowe of Birmingham, AL. The funeral will take place Friday, February 16, 2018, at 2pm at the Wassamassaw Baptist Church, located at 704 Wassamassaw Lane in Moncks Corner, SC 29461. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30pm until the time of service. The burial will take place behind the church after the service, followed by a meal at the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be offered to the Wassamassaw Baptist Church at P.O. Box 926 in Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
