“SAMUEL VERNON MANN, JR.
Since our last report demands of business have kept me constantly at work, and I have had little time or opportunity for travel or recreation. On July 1, 1907, my old firm of Mann, Bill and Co. was enlarged to Mann, Bill and Ware, and Leonard E. Ware ’99, was admitted to the firm. I was admitted to the New York Stock Exchange on July 17, 1907. I am sorry I have nothing to add of interest to my classmates, but with the exception of the summer of 1912, which I spent in England, my nose has been close to the grindstone. I have to record with deep regret the death of my partner Leo Ware ’99, which occurred this last December. Member: Harvard Club of New York, Sons of the Revolution, New York.”
