School, four years; B.S. 1004, M.S. 1905, Ala. Poly. Inst.; Alpha Tau Omega; m. Uniontown, Ala., June, 1918, Lena Ware. Clerk in a machinery and supply store; erection and repair of gas engines; electn, later engr, Flake Graphite Corpn, and now as min. engr Flaketown Graphite Co., Mountain Creek, Ala. First to refine graphite electrically on comml scale; inventor various water, air and elec, devices, machines and processes, some of which were used successfully but none patented. Asso. mem.
