I am interestep in history of butler county. Would love to read what you have found on the town of ware.
Hi,
My name is Jessica Lavicky. I have been doing research over the town of Ware, Nebraska for the past 15 years now. I have recently found the connection of Thomas Ware to the abandon town – a man named Edward S. Wheelen insisted that the school and church be named after Thomas Ware, a distant family relative and pioneer preacher – as listed in the church deed.
