Edward Charles Ware, 69, of McKinley Road, Cicero, died Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. A native of Palermo, Mr. Ware lived in Cicero 34 years. He retired in 1990 as a machinist after 34 years with New Process Gear Division of Chrysler Corp. Mr. Ware was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Connie; a son, Edward C. Jr. of Cicero; two daughters, Susan May Layton of Brewerton and Peggy Ann Ware of Wilmington, Del.; a brother, William of Fulton; and a sister, MaryJo Dolbear of Florida. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Spring burial will be in Fulton. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the North Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
