Annie Reba Ware Obituary, 2007

FOREST–Annie Reba Ware, 88, a homemaker, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at Regency Hospital in Jackson. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest with burial in Clark Cemetery. The Revs. Jerry Lundy, Rusty Walton and Mr. Max Loper officiated.

Mrs. Ware was born on Sept. 7, 1918, to Tommie Lee Brittain and Eunice Clark Brittain who preceded her in death. She was a native and lifelong resident of Pea Ridge Community in Scott County and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Ware was also preceded in death by her husband, William L. Ware; sons, Wilbourn Lee Redd and William David Redd; sisters, Katie Dora Oliphant and Minnie Lee Brittain; granddaughter, Kelly Byrd Mitchell and great grandson, Joseph Boone.

Survivors include her daughters, Virginia Hartley and husband, Bobby of Vicksburg, Lillian Lay and husband, Jerry of Pearl and Imogene Byrd and husband, Jimmy of Meridian; sister, Virginia Gilmer of Forest; brother, Johnie Brittain and wife, Lorene of Forest; grandchildren, Jona Lay Boone and husband, Walter, Christy Lay Moore and husband, Ray, Kimberly Lay Goodson and husband, Schaun, Glen Harley and wife, Marie, Tammy Hartley Hoofman and husband, Victor, James Robert Byrd and wife, Becky, Kevin Lee Byrd and Stephanie Byrd Ray and husband, David; great grandchildren, Jaden Hoofman and Will Everett, Lee and Anna Boone, Brad and Ryan Moore, Evan, Conner and Amanda Goodson, Keifer and Cooper Byrd and Jack Mitchell.

Pallbearers were Robby Byrd, Kevin Byrd, David Ray, Lee Boone, Schaun Goodson and Glen Hartley.
