This website is designed for descending families of Christopher Ware, (born  Kent Co., England, 1538 and died in Yorkshire Co., England, 1610), to comment, critique and post information regarding Ware family history.

However, the principal area of interest will focus on those descendants who resided in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Texas, and Iowa.

These families are commonly related to Peter Ware Sr. (born in Ireland in 1608).  He and his family arrived in the Colonies in 1636 and settled in York Co., Virginia, where he died in 1650.

Many genealogists and family historians have compiled historical and anecdotal information and written such.  Some of today’s family genealogists may not have access to this data.

It is our purpose to link families together by freely sharing information.
