It is with great sadness that I inform all the members of this website that Raymond Ware passed from our world this afternoon to join his beloved wife Bonnie. I have spoken with his oldest son Ed who will be traveling to Alabama tomorrow with other family members. Arrangements for the funeral are still pending and I will update all when I know more.
At sometime in the future I would like to put together a memorandum for this website of your thought about Ray. I know many of you have never met the southern gentleman, nor I. But, I do know a few of you are distantly related.
I have so enjoyed our telephone conversations and the wonderful wit this man had to offer in his writings. I, personally feel a great loss.
Vicki
A Collection of Nuggets of Wisdom and Humor by Raymond Martin Ware.
Ray is a true Southern gentleman of advanced years, but young in spirit. He and his beloved wife spent years traveling and researching his Ware history. Along the way he wrote these gems and has given them to us.
