I am glad to say that rural free-delivery service is just what is much needed among the farming population, and even is of more real benefit to them than to those who live in the village near the post office. I do not think the mail carrier has received as much compensation for his service as he ought to have. We should greatly regret being obliged to do without our daily mail.
