Banker; born Delavan Ill., April 5, 1865; son of James and Sarah (Ware) Howard; educated in public schools in Illinois and Evergreen City Business College, Bloomington Ill.; married Xenia, Ohio, Aug. 1889, Zana M. Steele; three children.

Ware was manager of Post Traders’ store, Fort Meade, S. Dak., 1885-1888; general merchant at Tilford S. Dak., 1888-1893; general merchant Benson, Neb., 1894-1903; president and director of the Bank of Benson, Neb. since 1904.  Postmaster Fort Meade, S. Dak, 1886-1888, Tilford S. Dak.  1888-1893; mayor City of Benson, Neb., 1906 and 1907.  Democrat; Episcopalian, Mason, Shriner, Odd Fellow, Woodman of America, United Workman, Elk.  Clubs: Omaha Rod and Gun, Clear Lake Shooting, Pine Ridge Agency, S. Dak.
