“Know all men by these present, that we, Carter Daniel, Mickelborough Daniel, Elizabeth Howerton, Frances Ware, Eunice Croxton, Frances Clarke, Elizabeth Daniel. Larkin McTyre, and Alfred McTrye do by these presents appoint John Richards our agent and Attorney for us and in our name and stead, to demand and receive from the Register of the Land Office of Virginia, and any and all Warrants for Bounty Lands which we may been titled on account of the services of John Daniel in the Revolutionary War; and our said agent and Attorney is hereby authorized to sell, transfer, or surrender, all such Warrants to any person who may purchase or to be authorized to accept the same, and to receive there for any money, certificates of scrip, or other equivalent, or substitute, or consideration, which is, or may be, hereafter provided, or offered for the same. And our said Agent and Attorney is also empowered and authorized to sell, transfer, and assign, all such scrip, or other equivalent, substitute, consideration, and in any and all ways to control and dispose of the in as full and ample manner as we could do if personally present. The meaning of this deed is to invest our said Agent with full powers to assert and obtain our rights to all lands, commutation pay, half pay, or to any and all bounties due from Virginia or the United States, for the services of the said John Daniel in the Revolutionary War. And our said Agent and Attorney shall have power to appoint one or more substitutes under him, with the aforesaid powers; and all his or their acts we will ratify and confirm by these presents. Andour said Agent, John Richards may retain out of the proceeds of said Warrants, Scrip, Substitutes, or moneys, one half thereof, as compensation for his services and expenses, for which this deed shall bea lien; and this power is irrevocable.

State of Virginia, County of Middlesex, 183?, This day Carter Daniel, Mickelborough Daniel, Eliza Howerton, Frances Ware, Eunice Croxton, Frances Clark, Elizabeth Daniel, Larkin McTyre, Alfred McTyre personally appeared before a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, acknowledged the foregoing Power of Attorney to be ??? act and deed.

John married Elizabeth STREET , daughter of Richard STREET and Margaret MICKELBOROUGH , in Nov 1779 in Middlesex Co, VA. Elizabeth was born in 1764 and died before 16 May 1850.
