”WARE, Mary, writer; b. at Madisonvllle, Tenn., Apr. 11, 1828; d. George and Matilda (Roper) Harris; m. Columbiana, Ala., 1863, Horace Ware, pioneer in Iron business In Ala. (died 1890). Contb’r prose and verse to the periodical press for nearly 60 yrs. Her poems appear in Poets of America, and other collections. Address: Birmingham, Ala.”
