”Chilion Mack, Mormon, son of Solomon and Esther (Hayward) Mack, was born July 26, 1802. Ordained ‘under the hands of elders Brigham Young and Orson Pratt’ at Peterborough, July 13 or 14, 1844. Ordination practically nominal. Afterwards a member of the Congregational Church. Residence, Gilsum. Died there, Feb. 2, 1883.
Married (1) Hannah, daughter of Elijah and Anna (Hathorn) Ware of Gilsum, May 21, 1829. She died, Gilsum, April 6,1871. (2) Mrs. Elmina (Wilcox) (Bemis) Isham, daughter of Gaylord and Orinda (Carpenter) Wilcox of Surry, Dec. 10, 1872. She died, Gilsum, June 2, 1886.”
