J. N. Harris, b. July 1, ’68, is son of W. Presley and Ann (Ware) Harris, of Cannon Co. He was brought to Maury Co. in childhood. He mar. Mollie, dau. of T. S. and Angeline (Gullett) Leftwich. T. S. was son of Tom and Patsey (Stratton) Leftwich; and Angeline, dau. of Samuel and Becky (Thompson) Gullett. Mr. Harris and wife have one child, Leland. They own the 108-a. homestead, a mile below Leftwich, where Samuel Gullett was born in 1818.”
