Ellen Smith Ware, departed this life Jan. 2, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Ware; and her son, James E. Ware. Rejoicing for the life of Ellen Smith Ware are her devoted children, daughter, Eunicetine (Raymond) Miller; two sons, Dr. Wilbert (Bessie) Ware and Mitchell (Debra) Ware; five granchildren, and three great-grandchildren; one devoted sister, Lucy Tyler (Edward); one devoted brother, James Smith; a devoted cousin, Pearl Randolph; and a host of nieces, nephews (devoted Floyd Smith) and other relatives. Family received friends at Robert Mealy’s Funeral Home, 2530 Dogtown Rd., Goochland, Va. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church, 4712 River Road West, Goochland, Va. Rev. Daniel Watson, pastor, officiated. Rev. Donald Trent eulogist. Graveside services were held at Ware/Smith family cemetery.
