“John Cralle was Mem. Va. Conv., 1776; also Trustee of Heathville, Va. Kenner C. gave bond as Sheriff, North’d Co., 1794. Captain Samuel Crawley, Va. State Navy, Revolutionary War, rec’d 1500 a. land from Va., issued in warrants 7235 to his heirs, Wm. S. and Samuel C. Ware, and 7244 to his heir, Elizabeth C. Ware. (Rep. Sec. Treas., 1834.) Leigh Ware surrendered warant 7326 for 500 a. land issued for Capt. Samuel C, 1834. (id.) This Samuel was pro. No. 16, who d. 1827.”
