"Marie B. Ware, 85, of Ashley Court died Thursday, Jan. 20,
2000.
A native of Greene County, Mrs. Ware was a daughter of the 
late Pearlie L. Bryant. She was a member of Pompey's Chapel 
Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher, Mother and 
Mission boards.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Pompey's Chapel Baptist
Church with the Rev. W.R. Ferrell officiating. Burial will be 
in the church cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Effie Ware, Washington; and four
sons, Charles Lindsey, Chicago, Ill., Robert Ware, Forest Park,
Stephen Ware, College Park, and Samuel Ware, Las Vegas, Nev.
Davenport-McLendon Mortuary has charge of arrangements."
