“My Grandfather, Douglas Ware, was born in Rapides Parish, Louisiana to parents Alford Ware and Ada Ashworth. He married Nettie Willis in 1915 and they had four children, Dennis James, Thelma, Nelva and Raymond Curtis.

Douglas worked in the timber industry in Rapides Parish, Louisiana for most of his adult life. He was killed in a timber cutting accident in 1926.”
