“WEST COLUMBIA – Services for James Lawrence Ware, 59, will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Barr-Price Funeral and Crematorium Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before service.
Burial will follow in Lexington Memorial Cemetery.
James Lawrence Ware was born in Montgomery, WV on June 8, 1952 and went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2012, He was the son of the late John R. and Peggy Ware. Jim graduated from WV Institute of Technology in 1974. He was an amazing trumpet player, enjoyed playing in the WV Tech marching band, symphony and jazz band, the Beni Kedem Gold Band and was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon.
After college, Jim’s professional career in the paper business spanned several decades. He was also a die hard WV Mountaineer fan and Gamecock fan.
Left to cherish his memory are; his wife, Judy Ware, daughter Megan Ware and Tim Smith, son and daughter-in-law Justin and Amber Ware, stepdaughter and step-son-in-law Holly and Hunter Mathias, grandchildren, Leslie and Leigha Ware and Hudson and Harrison Mathias, brother and sister-in-law, John and Sharon Ware, step mother, Barbara Ware, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives, friends, co-workers and neighbors. ”
