“Martha Nell Justus Ware, 91 years of age, of Depot Street in Eubank, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, December 12th, 2003 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab Facility in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born September 1st, 1912 in Greenville, Tennessee, daughter of the late John A. Justus and Margaret Stine Justus. She was homemaker and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was survived by four sons, Larry Ware of Science Hill, Kentucky, Jerry Ware of Dalton, Georgia, Dale Ware of Eubank, Kentucky, and Rick Ware of Science hill, Kentucky; six daughters, Wanda Cassada of Science Hill, Kentucky, Patsy Wilson of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Kay Smith of Eubank, Kentucky, Marilyn Dick of Science Hill, Kentucky, Carolyn East of Monticello, Kentucky, and Anna Daulton of Faubush, Kentucky; one sister, Johnnie Batman of Cleveland, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Justus; her husband of 37 years, Lawrence Marion Ware, whom she married on February 18th, 1936 and who departed this life on September 1st, 1973; one daughter, Margaret Wright; two brothers, Robert Justus and Joe Justus; and two sisters, Leland Peters and Bertha Brown.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14th, 2003 in the Chapel of the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Smith officiating.

Burial followed in the Freedom Cemetery in Eubank, Kentucky.”
