Raymond Ware (“Ray”), age 42, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the 7 Firethorn Court Group Home in Newark, DE.

“Ray, who had the developmental disability of autism, had no known relatives, but was loved and cared for by many including staff from Keystone Human Services, Chimes Vocational Services, and the Delaware Autism Program. Most recently Staples employed Ray. Ray loved to listen to music, attend church, watch the Food Network, cook, and go shopping. He will be greatly missed by his housemates who called him “Rockin Ray” and the group home staff who had become his family.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, April 23, 2010, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
