“Roscoe Ware, 88, of Liberty, died Wednesday in Liberty.

Born June 8, 1909, in Casey County, he was a son of the late McGarvey and Trua Godbey Ware.

He was a retired farmer and a member of South Fork Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche Tarter Ware; two sons, Cecil Ware of Liberty and Lucian Ware of Columbia; a daughter, Betty Tucker of Franklin, Ind.; a half sister, Reva Henson of Danville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at South Fork Baptist Church by David Coffey and Richie Curtis with burial in South Fork Cemetery. ”
