Eli Temple Ware (1876 – 1929)

“Husband of Martha L. (Moore) Ware and son of Elizabeth Catherine (King) and George W. Ware.

Eli died from Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Hemorrhaging in the Underwood Hospital in Woodbury and he was interred in the Methodist Episcopal Cemetery in Sharptown, New Jersey on 6 Nov 1929. He was 52 years, 11 months and 19 days old. Thomas S. Davis, the Undertaker, was the Informant on his Death Certificate.

Eli was well known in the fruit and vegetable trade, was district manager of the Albany & New York offices of the Florida Citrus Exchange.

Eli’s Will was written on 2 Jul 1929 and Probated on 18 Nov 1929. He gave 25 hundred dollars to his brother Rolston, the same to his sister Jennie and 5 thousand dollars to his wife Martie. The rest of the estate was left to his wife and if she should die then the estate would go to the children of his brother and sister.”
