Madaline and Elmer were married by Justice of the Peace, Salmon Giddings in Atco, Camden County, New Jersey. They both were living in Winslow Township, Camden County prior to their marriage. Madaline was 19 and Elmer was 22 years old and it was the first marriage for both of them. Elmer is listed as being 22 years old but on the 1880 New Jersey Federal Census it states that he was born in May of 1870.

Madaline and Elmer had one child named Raymon”
