“Marshall Linwood Ware is the son of Wilkerson Linwood Ware and Daisy Augustine Marshall Ware. He was born in Hicks Wharf, West Mathews County, Virginia. He married Eloise Merrill McEwen on 8 September 1928 in Richmond, Virginia. They had three sons: Richard Marshall Ware, Robert Lewis Ware, and Donald McEwen Ware. His remains are interred in the Eloise McEwen Ware Memorial Garden at Pohick Episcopal Church Cemetery, Lorton, Virginia (President George Washington’s family Church).”
