“Unity – Mrs. Alta Ware Haile, 67, died at her home here Friday, April 3, 1964, after several years of ill health. She was born in Thorndike May 10, 1896, the daughter of Osman and Alma Young Parsons. She lived most of her life in Thorndike, moving here only 10 years ago.

She was a member of Josiah Drummond Chapter O. E. S. of Thorndike, the Thorndike Congregational Church and Favori Rebekah Lodge in Unity.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Guy Ware, in 1954.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry; two sister, Mrs. Grace Pratt of Newport and Mrs. Berry Emery of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Thorndike Congregational Church. Burial will be in the Thorndike Cemetery at a later date.”
