“First wife of Joseph Overturff Ware and daughter of Anna C. (Auerbach) and John T. Updike. Sadie and Joseph were married on 29 Sep 1917 in Elmwood, Atlantic County, New Jersey. Sadie and Joseph were married by Reverend C. L. Ebell of Elwood, New Jersey. Sadie was living in Wading River and Joseph was living in Batsto prior to their marriage. Sadie was 19 years old and Joseph was 25 years old and it was the first marriage for both of them.

Sadie and Joseph had at least three children. They are Anna M., Howard Sylvester and Joseph Nelson.

Sadie died from Pulmonary Consumption and she was interred in Pleasant Mills Cemetery near Batsto, Burlington County, New Jersey on 3 Aug 1928. She was 30 years, 2 months and 7 days old. Joseph Ware, her husband was the Informant on her Death Certificate. ”
