“Charity Ann Shinn was born 20 Oct 1857 in Gasper Township, Preble county, Ohio to Job Shinn and Mary Jan Hudlow. They received their mail from the Eaton Post Office.

From 1860-1870 Charity was living with her family in Eaton, Gasper Township, Preble, Ohio.

On 25 Sep 1877 Charity married Abraham Ballinger Ware and had 8 children (see husband memorial).

In 1880 she and Abraham lived in Gasper Township. From 1900-1920 they lived in Oak Hill Township, Crawford county, Missouri. In 1930 they were living in Sherman, Johnson county, Arkansas.

Charity became a widow in 1938 and she herself passed away 3 years later on 17 Aug 1941 in Johnson county, Arkansas. She was buried next to her husband in the Mt Airy Memorial Cemetery located just East of Lake Ludlow.”
