Florine Hall Ware Obituary, 2005

“Florine Ware, 91, of Mount Bethel Road in Greeneville, formerly of Tusculum, died Sunday morning at Takoma Adventist Hospital.

She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church, where she was active in Sunday School and Women of the Evangelic Lutheran Church of America, as long as her health permitted.

Mrs. Ware was the widow of Walter L. Ware, her husband of 70 years who died April 16.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Linda Cannon of Simpsonville, S.C., and Gale and Art Neil of Ann Arbor, Mich.; her grandsons and their spouses: Mark and Connie Cannon of Simpsonville, Craig Cannon of Woodstock, Ga., Scott Neil of Battle Creek, Mich., and Chris and Tonya Neil of Grass Lake, Mich.; her great grandchildren: Megan Cannon and Courtnie Cannon, both of Simpsonville, and Austin Cannon of Woodstock; her great-great-grandson: Jace Mann of Simpsonville; a sister: Maude Griggs of Gastonia, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was a daughter of the late Walker and Louada Wilkerson Hall and was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Rick Ohsiek will officiate.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Mark Cannon, Craig Cannon, Scott Neil, Chris Neil, Charles Shelton, and Bill Reynolds.

Honorary pallbearers will be George Lindsay, Wayne Smith, Clyde Ottinger, Lewis Stroud, Ben Ware, Marvin Bowman, Eugene Bowman, Earnest Vern Bowman, Neal Holladay, her friends and neighbors, and the men of Reformation Lutheran Church.”
