“Henry M. WARE, aged 78, prominent Wayne township farmer, died at his home four and a half miles southeast of Kewanna at 5:30 p.m. Sunday from heart trouble. He had been in ill health for the past two years but only confined to his bed during the past week. Mr. Ware was born in the same house in which he died. He had spent his entire lifetime in the same house. He was born on September 10, 1856, the son of James and Mary WARE. The deceased was married to Miss Anna PINDER in a ceremony which was performed in Kewanna on February 23, 1881. He was a member of the St. Ann’s Catholic Church at Kewanna. Survivors are the widow; son, James WARE, who resides on a farm in Wayne township; daughter, Mrs. Anna LARKINS, who lived with her parents; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie POWNELL, Lucerne, and Mrs. Eva BEATTIE, Rochester; and a brother, Ezra I. WARE, Fresno, Cal. Two daughters, Katherine Elizabeth [WARE] and Mary Ann [WARE], preceded their father in death. The funeral services will be held from the St. Ann Catholic Church at Kewanna at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Father Herman SEEBURGER in charge. Burial will be made in the Catholic Cemetery near Grass Creek.
