“Lucinda Main Ware was born and raised in Henry county, Indiana. They were there the same time the John Albertson & Margaret (Roberts) Ware and family were living there. This is where William and Lucinda met. The 1840 US Census also puts Lucinda and William in Henry county.
On 16 Feb 1843 William and Lucinda married in Henry county and this is where their first two children were born, Christopher and Caroline. About 1847 they moved with the other members of the John & Margaret Ware clan to West Liberty, Howard, Indiana where they made their home. She lived here until her death in 1914 and was buried in the Union Civil-Forks of the Creek cemetery in West Liberty.
Both William P. Ware and his brother Jesse Ware married women by the name of Lucinda Main. These two women are first cousins and descend from Christopher Main and Amelia Weaver through different brothers.”
