“Mrs. Neva Ware, 42, wife of Lonnie Ware, 411 South Windsor street, died at 12:45 o’clock yesterday afternoon at Ball Hospital after an illness of four years.

She was a resident of Muncie eight years, coming here from Somerset, Ky. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to the husband are a son, Richard, at home; the mother, Mrs. Minda Smith of Muncie; three sisters, Mrs. Wilford Cravens of Shideler, Mrs. Charles Jett of Muncie, and Mrs. Carlos Zachary of New River, Tenn.; three brothers, Richard, Fate, and Norman Smith, all of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.

The body was taken to the Stephens funeral home, where services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon in charge of the Rev. Edgar Johnson, pastor of the Shideler Methodist Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon. The casket will not be opened.”
