“Paul Arldon Ware was born 3 Oct 1896 to Oliver Morton Ware and Aura Mary Price, both of Greentown, Indiana. As a young boy he was raised in the Greentown area.

About age 12 his parents and siblings moved to Shelbyville, Shelby, Indiana where his father opened and operated a clothing store for several years.

About 1912 he and his family moved to Los Angeles, California looking for land and better financial opportunities.

While working at a candy kitchen in L.A., he met and married Kathrine Elizabeth Yager on 22 Apr 1915 in Los Angeles, California. They both misstated their ages on their marriage license. She said she was 18 when she was actually only 14, and he said he was 21 when he was actually only 18. They had two children, Jack Austin Ware and Mary Ruth Ware.

After his marriage, Paul opened his own bicycle shop in L.A. and did very well financially over the years. Each summer they took trips to Yosemite & other Nat’l Parks.

Paul and Kathrine divorced about 1931. Kathrine then married (2) Mack William Stone of Tennessee, and moved to Murrieta Hot Springs, Riverside, California where she lived until her death in March 1948.

Paul married (2) Verna Dovie Clark on 24 Feb 1934 in Los Angeles. They divorced 19 May 1936 and Paul married (3) Clara B. Gorecki (from Chicago) on 4 Jul 1936 in Los Angeles.

Paul died 18 Aug 1978 in Los Angeles, California and was buried 24 Aug 1978 in the Inglewood Park Cemetery, 720 E. Florence Ave, Inglewood, CA.; Lot 100, Plot Myrtle.

After Paul’s death, his wife Clara returned to Chicago, Illinois and lived with her aged sister. She died 7 Oct 1988 and was buried in Chicago.”
