“Walter L. Ware, 95, of Tusculum, died Saturday at Life Care Center of Greeneville.
He was employed by Pet Dairy Products for 30 years, retiring in 1974.
Mr. Ware was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church.
He and his wife, the former Florine Hall, would have been married 70 years on April 27.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Linda Cannon of Simpsonville, S.C., and Gale and Art Neil of Ann Arbor, Mich.; four grandsons and their wives: Mark and Connie Cannon of Simpsonville, Craig Cannon of Woodstock, Ga., Scott Neil of Battle Creek, Mich., and Chris and Tonya Neil of Grass Lake, Mich., three great-grandchildren: Megan Cannon of Simpsonville, Austin Cannon of Woodstock, and Courtnie Cannon of Simpsonville; and one brother Howard Ware of Greeneville.
He was a son of the late Sidney and Callie Ware and was also preceded in death by two sisters: Kate Bowman and Selma Shelton; and one brother: Jerome Ware.
The family will receive friends at Kiser Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning in Kiser Funeral Chapel.
Pastor Rick Ohsiek will officiate.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ben Ware, Marvin K. Bowman, Eugene Bowman, Charles Shelton, Earnest Vern Bowman, and Bill Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers will be his neighbors, friends and the men of Reformation Lutheran Church.”
