“COMANCHE – Edwin Richard Ware, an oil company pumper and roustabout, died Saturday at his home in Comanche. He was 69.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hall & Chaney Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche. Burial will be in Aspermont Cemetery in Aspermont.
Mr. Ware was born in Stonewall County.
He served in the Air Force and was retired from Texaco as a pumper and roustabout. A former resident of Aspermont, he moved to Hasse from Hamlin 21 years ago. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dublin.
Survivors: Wife, Lela Ware of Hasse; two daughters, Martha Jo Gill of Abilene and Carolyn Johnson of Hasse; one sister, Deiva Turner of Lovington, N.M.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.”
