“James Jr. is the son of Lt. James Ware, Sr. (19 Nov 1745-9 Dec 1825) and Mary Veal Ware (19 Oct 1760-6 Mar 1844).

During the War of 1812 James, Jr. was in the 1st Regiment (Harris’) of the Georgia Militia. He served at Camp Hope.

He and Lettice Ware Ware had 14 children: George Washington, Hamilton, Permelia, Burrell, Mary, Edward Harrison, James Madison, Jane, Jency, Lettice, Harriett, Alexander, Amanda and William.”
