“Funeral services for Larry G. Ware, 58, of Waco will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Monday) at Wilkinson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Randy A. Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Ware died Saturday in a local nursing home.
He was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Kingsville. He moved to Lampasas at an early age where he attended school. He was a Lampasas High School graduate.
Mr. Ware married Jeanne Weaver on Sept. 26, 1975, in Waco.
He was a deacon at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Waco; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Ware, of Waco; a daughter, Amy Ware, of Waco; a son, Greg Ware, of Waco; brothers, Bobby Ware, of Corpus Christi and Ted Ware, of Valley Mills; stepdaughters, Linda Torres, of California, and Marsha Barabas, of Waco; a stepson, Cary Arbuckle, of Oregon; several; step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by Delores Ware in June of 1974. Pallbearers are Charles McLain, Roy Krumnow, Carl Tusa, Jeff Barabas, Darren Ware and Rodney Ware.
The family requests memorials be made to Emmanuel Baptist
Church.
Wilkinson-Hatch Funeral Home of Waco is in charge of arrangements.”
