Luther Milton Ware Obituary, 2002

Luther Milton Ware, 70, of Batesville, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center of heart failure.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. at Dickens Chapel. Rev. E.B. Gordon officiated the service. Burial followed in Batesville-Magnolia Cemetery. Dickins Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Ware, son of the late William and Minnie Mae Mahan Ware, was born August 3, 1932, in Panola County. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Cosby of Courtland and Connie Bell of Pope; and one step-daughter, Vickie Hannah of Batesville; one stepson, William Hannah of Batesville; three brothers, Monty Ware, Harold Ware, both of Batesville; Shannon Ware of Pope; three sisters, Nora LaVelle Joiner of Sardis, Melver Bray of Southaven, Carolyn Anne Bryant of Marks; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.
