“Mrs Lucy W Ware, 65, of 621 32nd Street, Columbus, GA, died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Azalea Trace Health Facility in Columbus. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, June 9, 2006 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetry. She was born July 23, 1940 in Columbus, GA, daughter of Rosa Stephens and the late Henry Stephens. She was a 1960 graduate of Spencer High School and worked at Columbus Carpet Mill. Survivors include her mother; 2 sons, Michael Ware and Jeffery Ware of Columbus, GA; 2 brothers, Charlie (Mae) Stephens of Columbus, George (Connie) Jackson of Baltimore, MD; a sister, Sallie (Walter) Hutchinson of Columbus.”
