“P A Ware Buried at Bethel
Perry Allen Ware, retired Houston feed manufacturer and former owner and operator of a feed and seed establishment here that bore his name, died at 8:30 pm, Saturday, Aug. 17, after a lingering illness. He was 67.
Funeral services were conducted from the Bethel Baptist Church at 10 am, Monday, Aug. 19 with Charles Bland, minister of the Church of Christ, and the Rev. D L Hill, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Interment was in the Bethel Cemetery with Houston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Bobby Dendy, Jack Dendy, Bobby Naron, George Knox, Billy Hughes, and Jim Dick Nelson.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clytee Morris Ware of Houston; two sons, Frank Ware of Houston and James Ware of Dallas, Tx.; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Pearl of Plattsburg, NY, and Mrs. Elizabeth Gibson of Vardaman; a brother, Floyd Ware of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Corine Springer and Mrs. Mabel Naron, both of Houston, Mrs. Vara Bryant of Jackson, and Mrs. Simmie Andrews of Vidor, Tx. Ten grandchildren.
Mr. Ware, who had resided in Chickasaw county all of his life, was the son of Sim Ware and Delia Chapman Ware. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Mr. Ware had farmed until 1944 when he went into business with his brother and operated Ware Bros. Feed and Seed in Houston. In 1953 he became associated with the B&W Milling Co. He later became owner of this business and changed the firm name to Chickasaw Milling Co. He was also a cattleman, retiring from business in 1972.”
