“Sallie” was the daughter of Michael Howard and Lucinda Caroline Carleton. She married Nicholas Bolin “Nick” Ware in 1868 in Madison County, Alabama. They migrated to Texas in the 1880’s, settling in Travis County. After many years there, they moved over to Georgetown in Williamson County. Eventually, they moved to Cockrell Hill and lived with their younger son and his family. Sallie and Nick were the parents of two sons.”
