CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. – Anna M. Jackson Ware, 78, of Charles Town, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Integrated Health Services of West Virginia in Charles Town. Born Dec. 26, 1923, in Charles Town, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Jackson Sr. and Margaret S. Writt Jackson. She attended Charles Town High School. She had been employed by JJ Newberry in Charles Town. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Charles Town. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Otis LeRoy Ware, of Integrated Health Services; one daughter, Kathryn Ware of Ranson, W.Va.; one son, Donald L. Ware of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Ethel A. Ramey of Charles Town and Mary K. Chambers of Martinsburg, W.Va.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Nettie R. Bell; and two brothers, Frank Jackson and Robert Jackson. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. Dr. Richard Simpson will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
