Edna Virginia Ware, 93, Kearneysville, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at her daughter’s home.

Born on October 27, 1919 in Martinsburg she was the daughter of the late Elisha and Ada Myers Canby.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ranson, WV.

She is survived by one son, Rick E. Ware and wife, Jeanne L., Inwood; two daughters, Carolyn V. Voges and husband, Keith P., Leetown, and Darlene M Quinn and husband, Robert C., Leetown; six grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Osburn Ware; one brother, Ralph Canby; and two sisters, Ruth Stanley and Reva Barnes.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church in Ranson with Pastor Withem officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Ranson Mission Fund.
