DOVER – Nancy S. Ware of Dover died Sunday Feb. 26, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 80. Mrs. Ware was born Feb. 18, 1926, in Mejia, Texas, daughter of the late Peter Shank and Rosemary Simler. She graduated from the Goldey-Beacom College with a degree in business. She worked as the business manager for Berry Van Line in Dover for 10 years. Mrs. Ware lived in the Dover area for the past 50 years. She loved spending time with her family and gardening flowers and vegetables. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Ware Sr., in 1993. She is survived by two sons, John L. Ware, Jr. of Santa Fe, Calif., and Daniel J. Ware, Sr. of Milton; a daughter, Susan Fantini of Delmar, Md.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Services will be private. Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapels, Dover.
