Irene G. Ware, 92, died July 26, 2000, at the Freeport Nursing Home. She was born in Yarmouth, a daughter of Francis and Gertrude Royal Lawrence, and graduated from Yarmouth High School in 1928. She was a member of the Relief Corps for many years. Her pastimes included reading, playing games, solving puzzles, cooking and spending time at the family’s ocean cottage. A daughter, Sylvia, died previously. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lawrence of Casco and Evelyn Gilliam of Freeport; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. There will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Pine Grove Cemetery, Falmouth. Arrangements are by Lindquist Funeral Home, Yarmouth.
