Lawrence Cecil Ware Obituary, 2002

Lawrence Cecil Ware, 72, of Vassalboro, ME, died Saturday (January 26, 2002) in Winslow, ME. Lawrence had lived for many years in Vernon. He retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in 1989 after 39 years, and moved to Vassalboro, ME. Lawrence was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and left many beautiful memories for his family to cherish. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Grace (Stewart) Ware of Vassalboro, ME; his son, Stewart L. “Chip” Ware and his wife Betsy of Andover; his daughter, Tammy D. Reed and her husband Brian of Vassalboro, ME; four grandsons, Tyler Ware, Cameron Ware, and Jonathan Ware, all of Andover; and Josiah Reed of Vassalboro, ME; his granddaughter, Kailah Reed of Vassalboro, ME; and many friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. No public service or interment is planned at this time.
